A little about me

I'm an engineer, a builder, and someone who enjoys exploring new ideas and bringing people together.

I graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, earning Highest Distinction and graduating as valedictorian.

Along the way, I've come to realise that I thrive in environments where ideas move quickly, people take ownership, and there's always something to learn or improve.

This page is a collection of the experiences, people, and moments that have shaped who I am.

Where it all began

I grew up in Malaysia and studied at SMJK Seg Hwa, where I completed my SPM and STPM.

Outside the classroom, I was actively involved in the Sin Chew Daily Cadet Reporter programme. It was one of my earliest opportunities to organise events, work with teams, and take on leadership responsibilities.

I eventually led the Johor-Segamat Division's 29th Cohort Camp and coordinated the state-level Cadet Reporter Training Camp. Looking back, these experiences sparked my interest in bringing people together to make things happen.

Finding my people at NTU

University was about much more than academics. It was where I met people who challenged my thinking, shared my curiosity, and became friends along the way.

At Garage@EEE, I explored ideas and worked on projects with like-minded friends. I also had the opportunity to lead the Enitio orientation programmes in 2021 and 2023, where we experimented with bringing technology into the games and experiences we created for freshmen.

My journey also took me through the Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab, events with the NTU Buddhist Society, and community work in Laos with NTU EEE Lead.

Each experience taught me something different about leadership, teamwork, and the joy of building something together.

Engineering & building

I've always enjoyed understanding how things work, finding ways to improve them, and turning ideas into something tangible.

At NTU, I explored the design and optimisation of radio-frequency circuits and worked on an education project promoting local food production, which won the UKSAEI 2022 Grand Prize.

After graduation, I joined Micron as an HVM Process Integration Engineer, using data analytics to identify problems, understand complex processes, and develop solutions.

Outside my professional work, I enjoy building products with friends.

In March 2023, we started Learnr, exploring how interactive content, discussions, and structured learning pathways could make learning more engaging.

For me, building is as much about the process of experimenting, learning, and improving as it is about the final product.

Beyond the desk

Life isn't all about engineering and projects. I also enjoy challenging myself physically, trying new things, and collecting experiences along the way.

Some memorable milestones include completing Ironman 70.3 Bangsaen in 2020 and climbing Gunung Ledang with my girlfriend in 2025.

Each milestone has its own story, often involving the people who shared the experience with me.

Exploring the world

One of my greatest joys is discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people along the way.

I see travelling as another way of learning — about the world, about others, and sometimes about myself.

Every destination leaves behind a few stories worth remembering.
